Adding or Modifying Quiz Questions

This page discusses how to edit a previously made quiz, to learn about creating a new quiz visit the Building a New Quiz page.

Any changes to the content of a quiz, either adding new questions or changing old ones is represented in the quiz links that have been already generated. A new quiz link is not needed after each change as the old one will update the quiz it points to.

Adding New Questions

Adding a new question or set of questions is easy with the use of the question template.

As with the creation of a new quiz you need to navigate to the tests page, then from there you find the test you wish to edit and click on it. This will expand a drop down menu where you want to select edit.

This will open the edit test page, from here you mouse over the Fixed Questions button and select Import New.

You will then select the option two and choose and import the template file as you did with the creation of a quiz.

After the questions have been imported and reviewed you select to add them to an existing quiz and choose the quiz from the list.

By default the questions will be added to the end of the quiz, to move them around you want to navigate back to the edit test page and then mouse over the options button and select the Set Question Order option.

From that page you simply drag the questions into the order you want.

Modifying Quiz Questions

This section covers how you edit a question after it has been added to a quiz.

As with the creation of a new quiz you need to navigate to the tests page, then from there you find the test you wish to edit and click on it. This will expand a drop down menu where you want to select edit.

You then want to find the question that needs to be fixed and select the edit option below the question details.

From this page you can edit all the details of the question to fix or modify it. After finalizing the changes you simply click save question and that is how you update a question.
