Administrative Onboarding Process

Overview

The following provides a virtual checklist for completing administrative tasks required to begin working at Solü Technology Partners.

How To Use This Checklist

Work through the list with assistance from your mentor, as needed, and communicate any issues you encounter to both your mentor and your team lead. On occasion, some items may not be possible to complete immediately due to availability of hardware, software or documentation, but every item should be comfortably completed or in progress by the end of your first week.

Don't forget to update this page if you experience any changes to the onboarding process or see opportunities for improvement. Don't be afraid to make a change! Our wiki is constantly evolving and we are all owners of its content, even on the first day.

  2. Go to the Control Panel and search for Advanced Printer Setup
  3. Select "The printer I want isn't listed"
  4. Select "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname"
    1. Second Floor - Enter 192.168.0.230 and click next; choose the driver for TOSHIBA eStudio3540c

If you encounter issues, plugging into the wired network should cause the printer to appear in the list of available printers.

Printer Locations

The second floor printer is located at the end of the main hall of offices, just to the right of the fob access double doors, while the third floor printer is located directly in the main seating area.

Ask your team lead or mentor to point out their locations when you tour the office in your first few days.

Town Center at Webster Office

Printers are connected to the Paychex network. You will be provided with instructions to connect after you complete your Solü onboarding and log into the Paychex network.

Time Tracking and Reporting

Tracking your time accurately every pay period is crucial and helps us monitor our resources. You will be responsible for logging hours against the correct projects and Mark Vernacotola will be responsible for approving those hours. Your time will be logged in BullHorn Staffing and you will receive your credentials on your first day.

Members of the co-op team should charge time to Internal / Co-op Solutions Team Development

Paid Time Off
Any PTO will be logged on your project placement. Use the drop-down menu under Hours Type to denote that the hours are PTO.

Internal Solü Projects and Expenses
If you have spent time on internal Solü projects or have non-billable expenses to submit you will log this on the placement named Solü- Paychex ADC/ Non-billable.

*If you are ever unsure at any point where you should be putting your hours, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Atlassian

Since you've found this page, it's likely you have already confirmed JIRA access and Confluence access. Please ensure you can log in to the remaining Atlassian tools below. Note: not all teams use BitBucket. Check with your team to determine if you will be using this tool.

If you run into any issues with the Onboarding materials, please record them under the Onboarding Issue Log and notify your mentor.
